Qualifikationen

• Must possess a class A CDL or CLP.
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT 391 regulatory requirements.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and enter/exit the cab.

Aufgaben

• Operate tractor-trailer including doubles and straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from equipment.
• Freight handling using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Communicate with Dispatch on delays, arrivals, or issues.
• Drive day and night and comply with DOT regulations.
• Demonstrate customer service and pick-up/delivery communication.
