Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a professional driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles, on long-haul routes between service centers and turn-points. Qualified candidates must hold a Class A CDL or CLP and meet DOT regulations. The position requires safety inspections, log maintenance, and ability to handle cargo handling

Qualifications

• Must be able to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer and, if needed, doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and required documentation.
• Follow Dispatch instructions and DOT regulations.
• Work with forklifts and dock operations as assigned.
