The position requires a Class A CDL, solid math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You will work with hazardous materials and follow DOT regulations while maintaining safety and efficiency on the road.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL or CLP required before entering job classification.
• MVR acceptable per hiring standards.
• DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work with trailers and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and dollies.
• Move freight with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
