Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess Class A CDL (or CLP) before entering job classification.
• DOT regulatory requirements and MVR must meet standards.
• Ability to count and perform basic math; good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to ~100 pounds and operate various docking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations (including doubles/straight trucks).
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip safety inspections and documentation.
• Handle freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual equipment.
• Secure freight with pallets, straps, and rope; recoup damaged freight when needed.
• Communicate with Dispatch and customers regarding pickups/deliveries and lead generation.
