Job summary

Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator to safely operate and maintain bulk and packaged explosives delivery equipment. You will spend 20–30% of time driving and the rest performing physical labor outdoors in varied weather, complying with explosives regulations, and maintaining logs.

You will report to the Location Manager and support on-site operations at customer locations. The role requires a 21+ DOT age minimum and a high school diploma or equivalent; Hazmat endorsement is

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and regulate to standards.
• Maintain accurate daily operation records including product usage and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Driving time 20–30%, rest of time performing physical labor outdoors.
• Coordinate and handle mechanical mechanisms to deliver emulsion.
• Transport goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and other cargo to destinations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs to Location Manager.
