Job summary

Austin Powder in Wisconsin is hiring a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to support safe transportation and on-site labor at customer locations. You will operate mobile manufacturing units and assist in delivering bulk products, with driving 20–30% of your time and strenuous physical tasks the rest.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inspecting vehicles, maintaining logs, and adhering to regulatory requirements for bulk and packaged explosives.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather.
• Must be able to read gauges and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling is preferred.
• Must meet DOT age requirements (21+).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of time; perform manual labor otherwise using hand tools.
• Transport goods, inventory, and hazardous materials to destinations.
• Keep logs, verify load contents against manifests, track hours.
• Load/unload materials, including overhead bin loading with fall protection.
• Operate mobile manufacturing units at customer locations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance.
• Comply with explosives regulations and company policies.
