Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a dependable driver/operator to join our field team. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, loading and transporting bulk and packaged materials, and ensuring safety and compliance at customer sites.

Candidates should hold Class A or B CDL with a clean record, be able to work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and interpret gauges while keeping precise logs and inventory records. Early start times and travel are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class-A or Class-B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Read and interpret gauges and maintain accurate records.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred.
• Must qualify as an ATF explosive possessor.
• Age 21+ as required by the DOT.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional manner.
• Coordinate and deliver emulsion; operate MMUs onsite at customer locations.
• Load/unload and transport materials and supplies; maintain logs.
• Verify contents of loads match manifest; report working hours.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies for explosives.
• Work non-traditional hours; start very early.
• Maintain accurate inventory records with high attention to detail.
