Job summary

FedEx Freight is hiring a responsible driver in Minnesota to pick up and deliver between service centers and customers. The role requires CDL Class B with HazMat/Tank endorsements, and at least 1 year of straight truck experience.

You will ensure on-time deliveries, maintain safety checks, and assist with loading and unloading freight in a multi-temperature environment. Expect professional customer service, adherence to DOT rules, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class B license with HazMat/tank endorsements.
• At least 1 year of straight truck experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development.
• Must be 21 or older with a clean MVR per hiring standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate various loading tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks and meet delivery schedules with professional service.
• Secure freight for pickup/delivery using pallets, straps, rope and other tools.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip and safety inspections; report issues to dispatch.
• Load/unload freight and assist with forklift/pallet jack as needed.
• Maintain required paperwork and records; handle DOT hazards documentation.
• Follow safety rules and route instructions; cooperate with customers and co-workers.
