Job summary

Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class A Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver products, operate mobile manufacturing units (MMUs) on site, and provide labor support at jobsites and at the location. This role reports to the Location Manager and requires working outdoors in varied weather conditions.

The position emphasizes precise handling of bulk materials, loading/unloading, and documenting loads and hours with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class-A CDL license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Must read and interpret gauges and regulate to standards.
• Maintain daily operation records including product usage and safety checks.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements are preferred.
• Must meet State and Federal explosive laws and qualify as an ATF explosive possessor.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of the time; perform outdoor labor with tools for the remainder.
• Coordinate mechanical functions to deliver emulsion.
• PICK up, transport, and deliver goods, inventory, hazardous materials, and cargo.
