Job summary

Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver our products, and to provide labor support at job sites. You will report to the Location Manager and work at our home base as part of a team dedicated to safety and quality.

You will operate mobile manufacturing units onsite, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records while starting very early hours. This role requires endurance and strict adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license (Class A or B) and clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• read and interpret gauges to correct standards.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred.
• Meet State and Federal explosive laws and ATF possessors requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of time; perform physical labor with hand tools and shovels.
• Picks up, transports goods, inventory, and hazardous materials.
• Keep logs, verify loads against manifest, and report hours.
• Load/unload and transport materials, including overhead bin loading.
• Operate mobile manufacturing units onsite to create bulk products.
• Follow regulatory requirements and company policies for explosive delivery.
