Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL driver/operator who will transport bulk and packaged explosives to customer locations and support job sites. You will operate mobile manufacturing units and bulk equipment, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure strict safety and regulatory compliance at all times.

The role requires heavy physical work, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the flexibility to work outside in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and professionally.
• Driving time is 20–30% with the remainder in physical labor using hand tools.
• Transport goods and hazardous materials to destinations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and logs.
• Maintain accurate load and hours records.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements.
