Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products and support on-site operations at customer locations. The role includes operating mobile manufacturing units, performing physical labor, and ensuring accurate logs and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements include a valid CDL (A/B), clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Hazmat endorsements are preferred; work hours may include non-traditional times and outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class-A or Class-B CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and professionally.
• 20–30% driving; rest labor tasks with hand tools and shovels.
• Transport goods, inventory, and hazardous materials to destinations.
• Maintain loading/unloading and prepare load manifests.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with regulatory requirements for bulk/packaged explosives.
