Job summary

Austin Powder is hiring a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver products, operate mobile manufacturing units onsite, and provide labor support at job sites. You will report to the Location Manager and work primarily outdoors with heavy physical tasks.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read and interpret gauges, maintain logs, and follow safety rules.
• Endorsements (hazmat, tanker, air brake) are highly preferred.
• Must comply with DOT regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Drive 20–30% of time; perform outdoor labor with hand tools the rest of the time.
• Load/unload and transport materials, including hazardous materials.
• Maintain delivery logs, verify loads against manifests, and track hours.
• Operate MMUs at customer sites to produce bulk products for blasting.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
