Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products, operate mobile manufacturing units, and provide site labor support at our locations. The role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, heavy lifting, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Strong driving credentials and ability to read gauges are essential, along with willingness to start very early and work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional manner.
Drives 20–30% of the time; performs physical labor with hand tools outdoors.
Loads, unloads, and transports materials and cargos, including hazardous materials, to destinations.
Maintains driving and delivery logs; verifies load contents and reports hours.
Completes pre- and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance needs to Location Manager.
Complies with regulatory requirements for bulk and packaged explosives and operates MMUs onsite at customer locations.
Supports on-site operations and equipment maintenance as part of Austin Powder location team.
