Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products, including explosives, from our facilities to customer sites. You will operate mobile manufacturing units onsite and perform manual labor outdoors in varied weather, with early hours and strict safety protocols.

The role requires a valid CDL and a clean driving record, 21+ years old, and often involves loading, unloading, and inventory tasks while maintaining logs and complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older per DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class-A or Class-B CDL with clean driving record; Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment safely and professionally.
• Drive 20–30% of the time; perform physical labor with hand tools outdoors in all weather.
• Load, transport, and deliver bulk products and explosives per schedules and manifests.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance to Location Manager.
• Maintain driving logs; verify loads and hours; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Operate MMUs on-site at customer locations to create bulk products.
