Job summary

Austin Powder in Kentucky is seeking a CDL Class B Driver/Operator to safely transport and deliver bulk products, operate mobile manufacturing units onsite, and provide labor support at customer locations.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate load and hour logs, loading/unloading materials, and complying with all safety and regulatory requirements for hauling explosives.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hazmat/tanker endorsements are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles in a safe, professional manner.
• Driving time 20–30% with remaining labor tasks outdoors.
• Loads/unloads and transports materials to destinations, including hazardous materials.
• Keeps driving and delivery logs, verifies load against manifest, tracks hours.
• Operates MMUs onsite to create bulk products for blasting.
• Completes pre- and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance.
