160 Driving Academy is seeking a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students from pre-trip inspection through CDL exam success, in-yard and on-road. You’ll work with a team of instructors at a designated yard and may cover at regional yards as needed.

You’ll also maintain training records and help keep the yard clean and organized. This local, hands-on role offers predictable daytime hours, opportunities for merit-based hourly increases, and a team bonus structure tied to student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CDL Class A driver is required.
• Previous instructor or training role is a plus.
• Strong classroom and yard instructional skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Class A driving skills in yards and on-road.
• Lead students through pre-trip inspections and maneuvers.
• Maintain training records and document student progress.
• Report incidents to lead instructor and management.
• Help keep yard clean and presentable and cover for nearby yards when needed.
