Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a full-time CDL-A driver in New Jersey to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers. The role includes pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and maintaining documentation while supporting sales by expanding business opportunities.

You must have a CDL-A with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, plus eligible MVR and DOT compliance. Physical ability to lift up to 100 lb and operate diverse equipment is required.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with double/triple, HazMat and Tank endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Hook/unhook trailers and connect dolly systems.
• Handle freight with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Complete required documentation and reports with accuracy.
• Comply with DOT regulations and hazardous materials procedures.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding pickups/deliveries.

Skills

CDL_A with double/triple endorsements
