Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services on assigned routes. The role requires pre/post trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and professional interaction with customers and dispatchers.

The position emphasizes timely and efficient service, reporting any vehicle or safety issues, and maintaining productivity with daily route sheets and VCRs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks and perform route servicing efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor per safety policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers on a daily basis.
• Identify unsatisfactory containers and report safety issues promptly.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
