Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers. The role requires pre- and post-trip inspections and strict adherence to safety regulations.

Daily VCRs, route adherence, and courteous customer interaction are essential to service quality. You will work on a designated route with a focus on safety, compliance, and efficient operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and reliability in waste

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck along designated routes and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Perform complete pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Report any vehicle issues and defects via standard reports and complete daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and team members to ensure timely and professional service.
• Maintain safety and productivity standards while adhering to company policies and procedures.
