Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck for waste removal and to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. You will perform daily VCRs, read route sheets, and provide courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, operating the truck on routes, loading refuse, and maintaining accurate reports while adhering to safety policies and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Strong customer service and time management skills are required.
• Ability to read route sheets and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-operation vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and dispose of material.
• Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
