Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL to safely operate collection trucks and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role requires pre- and post-operation inspections, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse with a packer and dispose at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste quality and vehicle condition to minimize downtime.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and required reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
• Participate in the Company’s ReSOP program.
