Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections and interact professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Leverage your CDL-B with air brakes to load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose at facilities while maintaining daily vehicle and route paperwork and safety records.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Must operate heavy trucks safely and follow safety policies.
• Ability to interact courteously with customers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections according to policy.
• Safely operate heavy truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others daily.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports.
