Job summary

Red Hawk Trucking is seeking an entry-level CDL-A Truck Driver for dry van routes. The role offers weekly pay of $1,300 to $1,400 and a starting rate of $0.50 per mile with 2,000 safe miles, plus top-performer incentives.

You’ll join a rookie-friendly program with 7 days onboarding, mentoring, and a tuition reimbursement plan. You’ll mostly run dry van, with Sundays off for a full reset, and your truck stays with you during home time.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older with a Class A CDL.
• Graduated truck driving school within the last 12 months.
• No trucking job since you finished school.
• No more than 4 moving violations in 3 years and no DUI/DWI in 5 years.
• Pass urine drug testing and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Dry van, no touch, mostly drop and hook.
• Freight from shippers we work with directly, planned ahead.
• Out 1 to 2 weeks, run Monday through Saturday, Sundays off for a full reset.
• Your truck stays with you on home time.

Rookie Friendly From Day One

• 7 day onboarding to get you set up, evaluate your driving and add training where it helps
• Hotel covered with a $100 food stipend
• At least 10 days with a road mentor, behind the wheel 5+ hours a day, paid $75 a day

• Backing evaluation, pre-trip and road test, then you move into your own truck

The Numbers

• $0.50 per mile starting rate at 2,000 safe miles, same for new and experienced
• Top performers earn a weekly incentive of 8 to 10 cents per mile
• Detention $15 an hour after 2 hours, $15 per additional stop
• Layover $40, breakdown $100
• Raise every year

Your Week
