FedEx Freight is seeking a professional driver to pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles where applicable.

Responsibilities include daily pre-trip inspections, accurate logs, and compliance with hazmat, DOT rules, and dispatch instructions. A valid Class A CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements and at least 1 year of recent driving experience are required, with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• Must have 1 year experience within the last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 391 FMC regulations.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer including doubles (and triples, where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor and/or trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
