FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a professional truck driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations. The role requires operating vehicles, performing pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and maintaining logs in compliance with DOT rules.

Eligible candidates hold a Class A CDL with double/triple and hazmat endorsements, meet DOT requirements, and reside within the designated service area.

Formación

• Possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials and tank endorsements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from tractor/trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch about delays, arrivals, or problems.
• May be required to chain vehicle tires.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations and company policies.
