Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a professional tractor-trailer driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations, using standard or double/triple configurations where applicable.

The role requires daily pre-trip inspections, compliance with DOT regulations, accurate logging, and the ability to hook and unhook trailers. Training and a valid MVR are required."

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A with double/triple, hazardous materials and tank endorsements. Automatic transmission allowed.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT 391 FMC regulations requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combos (including doubles/triples where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies from tractors/trailers.
• Verify and complete required documentation and logs.
