Qualifications

Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat endorsements; automatic transmission allowed.
One year of experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
Must have acceptable MVR.
Must meet DOT regulations under FMC 391.
Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds several times a week.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples and straight trucks.
Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
Hook/unhook trailers and convert dollies.
Handle freight with equipment like forklift and pallet jack.
Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
Complete required documentation and reports.
Comply with hazmat regulations and procedures.
Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding pickups, deliveries, and issues.
Suggest opportunities for additional business and support sales.
