Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem/tractor trailers and comply with DOT regulations while ensuring timely, safe deliveries.

The role requires a valid CDL A with a doubles endorsement, 12 months of driving experience, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds. Shift is Sunday–Thursday evenings with 6pm–8pm dispatch; annual pay around $65,000.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meets all state licensing/certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues or repairs immediately.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes.
• Complete route paperwork and logs per DOT/state rules.
• Unhook, park, and secure trailers; maintain clean equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and handling freight as needed.
