Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard sites. You will operate tandem and tractor-trailer equipment along intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to DOT rules and company safety standards.

You will communicate professionally with customers and teammates, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate logs and paperwork throughout shifts, including 3rd shift variations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes safely and on time.
• Observe DOT regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and required paperwork.
• Assist with general housekeeping and trailer organization.
