Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, in compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires operating different vehicle types on intrastate and interstate routes and communicating professionally with customers and coworkers.

The position demands attention to safety, ability to lift 60–90 pounds, and willingness to work a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday nights).

Qualifications

• Requires clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and pre/post trip inspections per DOT.
• Ensure trailer is loaded and secured properly.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes and schedules.
• Complete daily logs per DOT and company requirements.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures and park/store trailers.
• Assist with housekeeping and general duties as assigned.
