Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, complying with DOT regulations. You will interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally and perform duties to support the company’s food distribution operations.

The role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 12 months of driving experience, and availability for a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday to Thursday nights).

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Meet all State licensing/certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and repairs.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs.
