Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport trailers to and from operating company warehouses and shuttle yards. You will drive tractor/trailer units on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe, timely delivery of empty and full trailers while following DOT rules.

Responsibilities include safety checks, proper loading, paperwork handling, and log maintenance. The role requires a 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday schedule and a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement.

Qualifications

• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Ability to lift 60–90 pounds and use lift equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.
• 21+ drive shifts Sunday–Thursday, 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Transport empty trailers to warehouse locations.
• Turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT.
• Maintain logs of hours of service per regulations.
• Park and store tractors/trailers in designated areas.
• Ensure all paperwork is ready and secure freight.
