Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem tractors or straight trucks on intrastate/interstate routes, following DOT regulations and maintaining professional interaction with customers and peers.

The role requires a CDL-A with doubles endorsement, 12 months driving experience, and a willingness to work Sunday–Thursday nights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• State licensing/certification requirements must be met.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift, Sundays to Thursdays.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predefined routes.
• Hook/unhook procedures and secure freight properly.
• Maintain route paperwork and logs according to requirements.
• Ensure equipment and freight are secured and trailers are clean.
• Assist with other related duties as needed.
