Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Illinois to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will work Sunday night through Thursday night, with local routes and home every day, while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols.

The role requires a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement, 12 months of driving experience, and ability to pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs promptly.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines during driving.
• Ensure route paperwork is ready and accurate for dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule and properly secure freight.
