Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support local deliveries and move empty/full trailers between yards. You will operate tractor-trailer equipment on intrastate routes, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to route schedule.
• Inspect and secure freight, paperwork ready for dispatch.
• Respond to safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service log and housekeeping.
