Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to join our logistics team. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations, then return with full trailers, following DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

The role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 21+ years old, and the ability to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds. You will support customers by delivering on time and maintaining secure, clean equipment.

Qualifications

• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• 21+ years old and a clean MVR in the past 3 years.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and background check; valid DOT health card.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer and comply with DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues or repairs as needed.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; ensure freight is loaded and secured.
• Maintain route paperwork and dispatch readiness.
• Drive and deliver trailers on schedule; perform hook/unhook procedures.
• Park and store tractors/trailers in designated areas; keep equipment secure.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per DOT and company rules.
• Perform housekeeping in trucking area and assist with related duties.
