Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile yards. You will operate tandem tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, meet DOT regulations, perform safety checks, and coordinate with customers and co-workers to ensure timely deliveries.

CDL A with Doubles endorsement required; must have 21+ and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report all safety issues and repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and secure freight.
• Ensure route paperwork is available at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures safely.
• Park and secure tractors/trailers after shift.
• Complete hours of service logs as required.
• Maintain clean tractor and loading dock areas.
