Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a Shuttle Driver to transport trailers between our operating locations and domicile yards. You will operate tandem and tractor trailers on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering empty trailers to warehouses and full trailers to domiciles.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ commercial driving experience
• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Third shift schedule: Sun–Thu nights
• DOT Health Card required or able to obtain

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspect tractor/trailer per DOT regulations
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes
• Ensure proper loading and securing of freight
• Maintain required route paperwork and logs of hours of service
• Complete daily duties; report safety issues and keep equipment clean
