Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Arkansas to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem tractor trailers or straight trucks on intrastate/interstate routes, following DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.

Turn times and customer interactions must be professional and timely. The role requires 12 months of commercial driving, a CDL A, and the ability to lift heavy freight.

Qualifications

• Commercial driving experience required (12 months)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass road test
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip per DOT regulations
• Inspect tractor/trailer and report safety issues
• Ensure route paperwork is complete and available to driver
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined route schedule
• Hook/unhook and park tractors/trailers safely
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and maintain cleanliness
