Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking a CDL‑A licensed rigger to support crane operations. You will handle rigging, signals, and setup, ensuring safe lifting of loads under DOT regulations.

The role requires maintaining equipment, reporting issues, and coordinating with crane operators in a fast-paced, on-site environment. The ideal candidate has proven rigging experience, strong mechanical reasoning, is comfortable with travel, and can pass drug/background checks.

Qualifications

• Rigging experience required ( cranes, rigging lines, hoist, and pulling gear).
• Strong mechanical reasoning and math perception for weights and balance.
• Knowledge of crane signaling and safe rigging practices.

Responsibilities

• Operates within DOT laws and regulations.
• Represents the company professionally.
• Assists the crane operator in maintenance of crane and accessory equipment (trucks, trailers, etc.).
• Assists with proper setup/teardown of equipment.
• Inspects trucks and trailers; completes inspection reports.
• Reports mechanical defects to shop or supervisor.
• Monitors inventory of chains, boomer, and straps; reports shortages.
• Inspects, cleans, and maintains rigging gear.
• Ensures safety during hoisting moves and signaling.
