Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking a CDL A Rigger to support crane operators on job sites in Lynchburg, VA. You will assemble, rig, and move loads safely, using hand signals and established procedures.

The role requires clean MVR, rigging experience, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. Overtime and travel may be required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Must have clean MVR and be able to travel.
• Crane knowledge and rigging experience required.
• Excellent mechanical reasoning and math sense.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and work overtime.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals required.
• Flexibility to travel including weekends/overnight.

Responsibilities

• Operate within DOT laws and regulations.
• Assist crane operator with maintenance and setup of equipment.
• Inspect trucks, trailers, and rigging equipment; file reports.
• Assemble and install rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Signal or direct workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Maintain inventory of chains, boomer, and straps.
• Complete ProLift training and any required third-party training.
• Other duties as assigned.
