ProLift Rigging is seeking a skilled CDL-A rigger to support crane operators on project sites. You'll assist with rigging setup, hand signals, and safe lifting of loads while adhering to DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have rigging experience, crane knowledge, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to travel including weekends. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and 401(k). This role requires staying safety-focused and maintaining equipment, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Clean MVR is required.
• General crane knowledge needed.
• Excellent mechanical reasoning required.
• Good perception of math applications, weights, measurement, and balance.
• Must be flexible with schedule, able to travel, and able to work overtime.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Rigging experience required.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals required.
• Travel on weekends and overnight stays may be required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong reasoning ability.

Responsibilities

• Operates within DOT laws and regulations.
• Represents the company professionally.
• Assists the crane operator in maintenance of the crane and accessory equipment.
• Assists in proper setup/teardown of equipment.
• Inspects truck and trailer and fills out inspection reports.
• Reports mechanical defects in writing to shop or supervisor.
• Monitors inventory of chains, boomer, and straps.
• Inspects and maintains rigging hardware.
• Monitors annual state inspections and license plates.
• Assembles and installs rigging and supporting structures.
• Connects pulleys and blocks to overhead structures.
• Cleans and dresses machines and parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment in confined spaces.
• Dismantles and stores rigging equipment.
• Moves loads using rigging lines and hoists.
• Selects gears, cables, shackles per load and schedule.
• Signals or directs workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Inspects rigging for safety and reliability.
