Job summary

ProLift Rigging in Lincoln, NE is seeking a skilled Rigging Technician to align and operate cranes, install rigging, and ensure safe movement of heavy loads through tight spaces.

You will join a mission-focused team and complete required ProLift and customer training. A valid CDL A, clean MVR, and willingness to travel with overtime are essential. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• CDL - CLASS A required.
• Clean MVR required.
• General Crane's knowledge.
• Excellent mechanical reasoning.
• Good perception of math applications, weights, measurement, and balance.
• Must be flexible with your schedule, able to travel, and able to work overtime.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Rigging experience required.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals is required.
• Flexibility to travel is a must, which may include weekends and overnight stays.

• Must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantles maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Manipulate rigging lines, hoist to move or support materials, steel, and concrete.
• Selects gears, cables, and shackles according to load size, facilities, and work schedule.
• Signals or gives direction to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure the safety of workers and materials.
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting.
• Individuals will be expected to complete ProLift Specific, Regulatory and Identified Equipment training through our internal LMS system.
• Individuals may be asked/required to complete 3rd party and customer required training to gain on-site access.
• Other duties as assigned.
