Job summary

ProLift Rigging, LLC in Manassas, VA is seeking a CDL/Crane Rigger to support crane operators on tasks before, during, and after lifts. You will provide rigging operations and hand signals to ensure safe lifting and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a clean MVR, rigging experience, CDL-A, and knowledge of crane hand signals. You must be able to lift 75 lbs, travel as needed, and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Clean MVR required.
• General crane knowledge.
• Excellent mechanical reasoning.
• Good math, weights, measurement and balance.
• Flexible schedule, able to travel, overtime.
• Must lift 75 lbs.
• Rigging experience required.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals.
• Travel may include weekends and overnight stays.
• Good communication and reasoning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates within DOT laws and regulations.
• Represents the company professionally.
• Assists crane operator with maintenance and setup of equipment.
• Inspects trucks and trailers; files inspection reports.
• Monitors and inventories rigging gear.
• Inspects and maintains rigging equipment.
• Connects pulley and blocks to overhead structures.
• Signals workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Inspects rigging for safety and reliability.
• Other duties as assigned.
