Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking skilled riggers to join a privately owned industrial construction team in Texas. This role focuses on aligning, rigging, and operating equipment for lifting, relocation, and installation of heavy plant components. Travel and overtime may be required.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL Class A with clean MVR, strong mechanical reasoning, and proven rigging experience. A HS diploma or equivalent is required; OSHA 10 is preferred, NCCCO Rigger is a plus, and background

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Drug test and background check required.
• CDL A required and clean MVR.
• General crane knowledge and rigging experience expected.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and math sense for weights and balance.
• Able to travel; overtime and weekend work when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals required.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Manipulates rigging lines and hoists to move materials.
• Selects gears, cables, and shackles according to load and schedule.
• Signals or directs workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Tests rigging for safety before lifting.

Education

HS diploma or equivalent

OSHA 10-preferred

NCCCO Rigger a plus

Drug test and background check required

CDL Class A

General Crane's knowledge
