Overview

CDL-A Regional Van Truckload truck driver position with Schneider. This role involves driving within the Eastern 37 states, with a focus on predictable power lanes and high freight volume.

Responsibilities

• Operate a regional van truckload route within the Eastern 37 states.
• Handle freight that is 95% no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook.
• Dispatched in advance to improve planning and drive time management.
• Maintain on-time delivery while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Passport, FAST card or Enhanced CDL opens more opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Average pay: $1,030–$1,260 weekly.
• Pay structure includes mileage pay plus hourly pay while on duty (not driving).
• Weekly performance pay and annual bonuses; sign-on bonuses: $6,000 for experienced drivers and $3,000 for inexperienced drivers, paid over 12 monthly payments in the first year.
• Mileage incentive potential ($0.02/mile) based on weekly miles and goals.
• Paid orientation and paid time off after 6 months, plus holiday pay.

• Home time: Every other week.
