Job summary

Gourmet Foods International in Washington state is seeking a CDL driver to join our team. You will operate modern equipment on dedicated routes, with home daily schedules and support from XM Radio and Bluetooth-enabled trucks.

This full-time position offers up to $100,000 per year based on experience, plus a monthly safety bonus and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, a 401K with company match, profit-sharing, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A/B depending on route requirements.
• Minimum age 21 and valid CDL license.
• TWIC card required.
• Refrigeration experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and verify route and account numbers.
• Deliver orders following DOT/FMCSA regulations and company protocols.
• Maintain load temperatures per specifications.
• Unload deliveries and obtain signatures; collect payments when required.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the \"pre-trip safety check\" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.


• Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols


• Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications


• Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.


• Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21.


• Valid CDL License (Class A or B, depending on route requirements).


• TWIC card required.


• Refrigeration experience required.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Push/pull up to 75 lbs.


• Ascend and descend a step up to 17 inches from the floor.


• Climb up and down 3 rungs of a ladder, with the first rung at 21 inches from the ground.


• Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.
