Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is hiring a CDL driver with at least one year of experience to deliver orders daily to customers, maintain product temperatures, and ensure accurate invoicing and signatures. You will operate modern, late-model trucks with on-site maintenance support and dedicated routes.

We offer a guaranteed minimum salary up to $95,000 annually, safety bonuses, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid CDL License (Class A or B, depending on route requirements).
• TWIC card required.
• Refrigeration experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the pre-trip safety check inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols.
• Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications.
• Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.

Candidates must meet the scheduling requirements of the position. Depending on the role and business needs, schedules may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or travel.
