Gourmet Foods International is seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers to join our nationwide team. Minimum one year of CDL Class A driving experience is required, with home 2–3 days each week and dedicated routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to step up 17 inches and climb up to three rungs of a ladder.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip responsibilities and inspect truck and trailer per DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Drive to deliver customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA and state regulations.
• Maintain load temperatures according to load specifications.
• Unload products from the trailer and place in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery with customers, collect payments when required, and report discrepancies to management.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items, and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols
• Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications
• Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age: 21 years old.
• Valid CDL License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs.

• Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.
